Hello Everyone,
On Tuesday, June 21st, we will be holding our first in person event of 2022 with special guest speaker Steve Jones. The event will run 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Bubolz Nature Preserve in Appleton and a catered lunch will be provided. Please register on the chapter website in advance for this event. Non-CPCU/CPCU candidates are welcome to attend, but there will be a $20 admission fee collected the day of the event. Please note that non-CPCU/CPCU candidates will also need to register on the chapter website. Mr. Jones will be presenting “Developing Leaders Who Grow a Winning Culture.” A description of the keynote, along with a biography of Mr. Jones, can be found below. We hope to see you there!
Description of Keynote:
Culture either happens by design or default. Steve Jones will be discussing how to intentionally grow a “winning” culture by developing leaders within your organization. The importance and power of connection, mindset, and servant leadership will be covered specifically in leadership development and cultural growth.
Biography:
Steve Jones is a leadership coach, consultant, and best-selling author who has helped transform influential leaders and inspire successful cultures. He challenges individuals to intentionally create and grow a “winning” culture by developing leaders within an organization.
Steve spent eleven seasons as Kimberly High School’s head football coach. During that time, the Papermakers compiled a 129-9 record, including a Wisconsin state record of 70 wins in a row. In his 11 years, Kimberly won nine conference championships and five consecutive state championships, along with one state runner-up finish. Steve has been named Conference Coach of the Year nine times. He was also named the 2016 and 2017 Associated Press Coach of the Year, and won the WFCA/Packers Coach of the Year three years in a row. Steve was the national runner-up for the Don Shula NFL Coach-of-the-Year, and has received numerous awards for his leadership and positive influence.
Steve has worked with numerous leading organizations like Verizon, Xerox, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Kimberly-Clark, Bergstrom Automotive, and Stryker Medical. He also taught three different leadership courses at Kimberly High School for 13 years.
